Overview

DateFold is developed by Cedars Software, LLC. It is a local Mac utility for renaming date-prefixed files.

File Access

DateFold reads the file or folder you drop on it so it can propose date-prefix renames. It does not browse the rest of your Mac unless you drop that location.

Local-only rename

Renames run on your Mac. DateFold does not upload your files, create an account, or sync through iCloud.

You see a preview of every proposed change before anything is renamed. Canceling leaves files untouched.

Analytics & Tracking

DateFold does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks.
